Cross-Country Skiing in the Stubaital

Skaters and classic-style cross-country skiers always fall in love with the stunning Stubaital valley and the 130 km of perfectly prepared ski tracks leading through different terrain. One of the highlights in our region are the 45 km of high-alpine tracks around the Serles mountain peak at 1,600 to 1,800 m above sea-level, the tracks at the Stubai glacier, and the track to the Schlicker Alm alpine pasture.

Courses & Equipment

Ice Skating, Ice Climbing, and Paragliding

Ice, ice baby! The valley of never-ending snow at the Stubai glacier has many excellent options for some time spent on the ice. The Ice-Arena in Fulpmes, right in the heart of town, is a sheltered ice-skating rink for some great fun on the ice for the entire family and is only approximately 50 m from the Hotel Donnerhof****. Further ice-skating can be enjoyed at the rinks in Neustift, Mieders, and Schönberg.

Toboggan Fun

In the Stubaital valley, guests can explore 10 natural toboggan tracks that guarantee great winter fun. Toboggans are available for rent at the tracks and you can get to the top by walking, taking the lift, or catching a taxi. Special highlights include night tobogganing along flood-lit tracks and the longest toboggan track in all of Tyrol at the Elfer leading through the Pinnistal valley.
